  • Is a water color blue clear, never e seen something so beautiful, the river is wonderful, the route is a wonder, and if going from cabrales in car can go bordering a bit (then already appears the monte) and arrive to sotres and tresviso, that are a wonder. Totally recommended.

  • We decided to make the route of cares mainly by his fame. We did it in November, left Poncebos and did complete roundtrip. It should take into account that the most beautiful part is the most close to Cain, so if you're not ready or don't feel like complete it the best is start of Cain do a stretch and return. It caught our attention the amount of little-trained people who had, is basic to bring good shoes and water, are several kilometers and be aware of what is going to do. To us the trip cost US 2 h and little, and return something more because we stopped. There are goats along the way, that people feeds them, and that causes that when you eat the sandwich quietly, they prefer to look at you to see if you give sausage that eat their pastures, this seems to me fatal, have to respect the environment and animals. There are equally beautiful and not so overcrowded routes.

  • Ruta del Cares-as has been written, a wonderful route through the Gorge. its length is 12 km one way (from Ponsebos to Cain). And Ponsebos and Cain-marvelous mountain villages. Especially impressed with Cain-a heavenly place among high mountains! There are several cafes, small shops, so you can sit back and relax a bit and enjoy the beautiful views. And then you can move to the way back (we lived in Ponsebos and marched the route back and forth). At the bottom of the Gorge flowing mountain River Cares.
