  • Small convent. I went to buy the cakes of the convent, and only by being run by one of the nuns of the convent, for me, it was great. Very attentive it sister. To try bienmesabe which they are asked and... looking forward to returning to Antequera to buy big box. Eat it until he loathes it! Terrific! Polvorones, as they can be purchased at Carrefour, as you can buy during these dates, but their sweets... must go. It is a very cozy convent. Very happy I went from Antequera.

  • In this church we find ourselves accidentally-roamed the Antequera at lunchtime. Everything was closed. Convento de Belen proved to be opened. Terrific energy.

  • From my point of view is one of the four best baroque churches of Antequera, there are more than 20 Although not all can be visited. Us visistamos 11. If there is little time is one that must see without fail.

  • It began to be built in 1628. As other churches in the city, it presents a very sober exterior in stone and brick, which contrasts with the richness of its interior, in which stands out the rich Baroque plasterwork decoration. Of interest also the dressing rooms of Jesus fallen and the Virgin de los Dolores. The visiting hours are from Sunday to Friday from 8:00 to 17:00 and Saturdays from 8:00 to 13:30 h. The entrance is free. To the left of the main entrance opens a door that allows access to a lathe where we can buy the elaborations of the Poor Clares, which occupy the convent. Among other many specialties we can buy the famous bienmesabe, in presentations ranging from 600 grams to €6 to 2 kgs. €20.
