  • Looks beautiful views, access is not very careful and for people with some sort of disability has very bad upload.

  • Almunecars beach is divided into two parts by a peninsula with three rocks. On the internal, 30 metres high, it has built the stairs up to an observation deck with a big cross in the glass which shines beautifully at night. The rocks are protected and there is a rich bird life. The view is at least as good, or even better, like it from the Balcon de Europa in Nerja is not far away. Should not be missed if you are in the neighborhood! Please think of the Romans ' feat when they like that 2,000 years ago built a bridge over the fortress, a bridge that is said to have been left in the 1800 's. In front of the Peñón del Santo is a statue of Abd el-Rahman in which landed in the vicinity of Almunecar in August 755. He came from Damascus in present-day Syria and had taken to North Africa after difficult adventure. Here he took contact with the family that already existed in the today's Granada and was able to seize power over the Muslim community and with great ferocity found a dynasty which came to master Spain in 200 years with Cordoba. He himself was killed in the battle of Poitiers in 732 a conquest against today's France.

  • Nice view of the beach of by and on the other, worth a visit, turquoise clear water! See a few steps but easy to access all the same.
