Oasys MiniHollywood, Almeria

4.0
#1 of 22 in Theme Parks in Andalucia
Theme Park Water / Amusement Park
Set within the dry hills of the Tabernas, Europe’s only desert, Oasys MiniHollywood serves as a tribute to the filming location of many famous “spaghetti Westerns.” Located in the heart of Andalusia, the park’s major claim to fame is its service as the set for the 1966 film "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly," starring Clint Eastwood. Explore a detailed town pulled straight out of the 19th-century American West, which offers cowboy shows and historical reenactments. Wander its dusty avenues and admire the traditional wooden construction of the intricate set. The town square is complete with storefronts and local characters. For further entertainment, the park also contains a small zoo with several species of big cats. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended, as the town covers a fairly large area. Put Oasys MiniHollywood and other Almeria attractions into our Almeria vacation route planner, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • A nice place to go to when you are close by. The wild western part is nice to go, the cowboy show is very good. Also the zoo is very good, the animals are looking good. A must see for sure.
  • In a word..Awesome. If you love western movies or anything about the wild west you will love this place. Even if you don't it is still a great day out for all. You might think it seems expensive and that is what I thought when I paid €105 for my clan (4 adults, 1 child + parking) but it is well worth it. When you first walk into town you are transported back in time and can imagine yourself in the wild west. The building are interactive so you can go up onto balconies and go inside to see how the stores were set up.There is a great museum of the movies made there and different types of carriages and more. Then there is the zoological part which is also very good ( some people ask 'why' well it's just to add to your day out in my opinion and it's great) Tigers, Giraffe, Hyenas, Bears just to name a few and a train ride. Food, all you can eat bbq. This is separate however and is €12 per adult and €9 per child and comes with side dishes + fruit, yoghurt and a drink. Fair price. Entertainment..Brilliant, can can dancing in the saloon ( which is a proper working saloon all day 🍻👍) but dancing has 2 performances. Then there is the wild west show with gunfights, a hanging (which is tastfully done with humor so not to scare children) and being dragged behind a hourse all to the soundtrack of Ennio Morricone. Awesome. You might think by reading this that I work for the park..I don't, me and my family just had a brilliant day out there and would go again no hesitation....thanks for reading hope this gives you some feel and insight to the park.
  • I've always wanted to come here and I wasn't disappointed. Great day out! The show was good fun, the buffet better than expected and the animals a bonus. Would recommend if you have a free day.
  • Although the price is a bit steep (€25/adult, 12.50 €/child) you really get worth of every penny/cent. In the low season (oct) we didnt have to pay the € 2.90 parking valet. You basically pay for 2 parks: a wild west and a zoo. Fantastic shows and a great diversity of animals. The shows were mainly in spanish, maybe due to the afterseason. Despite the price and language limitation, surely not the last time we were here 😀
  • I thought this place was fantastic. Great theming and really entertaining shows. Definitely a nice family day out
