Oasys Mini Hollywood, Almeria
(4/5 based on 1,100+ reviews on the web)
Set within the dry hills of the Tabernas, Europe’s only desert, Oasys Mini Hollywood serves as a tribute to the filming location of many famous “spaghetti Westerns.” Located in the heart of Andalusia, the park’s major claim to fame is its service as the set for the 1966 film "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly," starring Clint Eastwood. Explore a detailed town pulled straight out of the 19th-century American West, which offers cowboy shows and historical reenactments. Wander its dusty avenues and admire the traditional wooden construction of the intricate set. The town square is complete with storefronts and local characters. For further entertainment, the park also contains a small zoo with several species of big cats. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended, as the town covers a fairly large area. Put Oasys Mini Hollywood and other Almeria attractions into our Almeria vacation route planner, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • Great for western film fans. Zoo good, shows very loud and in Spanish.... but you are in Spain! Very authentic cowboy town. There is a water park but it was closed in October...still 29 degrees though...  more »
  • We had many win come, the truth is that it has its good and bad things as whole. As negative staff over the ticket price, without advance discounts and children after a certain age they pay as an adult. Parking fee required (though if you leave it outside their facilities is free of charge), the food is expensive and beverages inside are also too expensive and the majority of supplier (soft drinks). Even if you go in October as in our case the amount of the entry is general (have pools for summer) there is no discount unless you buy them in advance at a Hotel in which case gets you a drink. The show and the decorated all pretty faithful to the original, the theme of the show found a little loose (the truth is that it has nothing to envy the spectacles that make some leisure centre) but the visit between this and the park or game reserve which possess everything is fairly complete, in addition also there is a bird show.

  • We were on vacation this summer in Vera and take to the small mini Hollywood. Starting because they charge parking (a simple Esplanade powder) wondering if you've parked there, there is no control that prevented you and of course they are not responsible for possible damage or theft... The next thing is when they ask you if you want to input simple or combined with the restaurant to leave the menu you more economical: comprala as well. If you report the Web you'll see that there are kiosks dogs and others but in the middle of August (think high season) you find them closed so you will also eat at the restaurant and the menu is quite expensive. Yes it is true that the food is very good. Another thing are the distances, announced a free train but it is only in the area of animals by what the rest of the Park will have to do it on foot. So don't recommend you with a small child and heat, bad combination. And the worst thing is you have to make the same way because it has not occurred to the turn (I think) make a walkway that shorten the path between the two areas. In short, to have an experience okay but I do not believe that you repeat.

  • Although the price is a bit steep (€25/adult, 12.50 €/child) you really get worth of every penny/cent. In the low season (oct) we didnt have to pay the € 2.90 parking valet. You basically pay for 2 parks: a wild west and a zoo. Fantastic shows and a great diversity of animals. The shows were mainly in spanish, maybe due to the afterseason. Despite the price and language limitation, surely not the last time we were here 😀
  • I've always wanted to come here and I wasn't disappointed. Great day out! The show was good fun, the buffet better than expected and the animals a bonus. Would recommend if you have a free day.
  • Beautyfull Landscape and very friendly People. The Shows, espeacially the Cowboy Show was very nice :) After the Show you could sit next to them on a carriage or on a horse. The Zoo was awseome. Many animals! Great Day. We want to visit again!
  • I thought this place was fantastic. Great theming and really entertaining shows. Definitely a nice family day out
  • Great Western Show and nice Pool area in the beautiful desert. However i do not understand why there is the need for a Zoo in this high temp area. At least the animals who don't life in this Type of environment (Brown bear,owl,...) shouldnt be kept there! The Cinema / Western history offer much more Potential to be explored instead. Which movies have been filmed where / Fotos / stories / actors / .... I searched All the time for little Details on Bud Spencer and Terence Hill in tabernas, why isnt such a fact not more present?
