  • A little walk down the main street of Almeria leads to this attraction. An edifice that looms both of countries and beyond the sea.

  • Cable English, historical monument with appearance of being abandoned and wasted, because it is English and Mason Eiffel and the fascists wanted it to shoot down, is probably the second building (the first is the Alcazaba) most emblematic of Almeria capital or more attractive, by the size of the spectacular, although its aesthetic value is rather industrial. Apart from seeing it on the outside, because by now another thing you can't, can be used to show on a minitour species because it is near the Boardwalk or next to it there is a park or Esplanade with a marble tribute sculpture to victims Almeria in the Mauthausen nazi concentration camp, is a simple monument, low-budget, but very symbolic, each column represents a victim of Almería and the sculpture the quarry which was the worst destination for the deportees, saving other types of deaths and torture. The figures that are carved are prisoners having to climb the ladder of Mauthausen with stones from the quarry to the back. Monument is within the reach of any urinal and dump the young Almeria, also is a victim of acts of vandalism, including graffiti of swastikas, extreme left and texts in Arabic. The promenade is in the neighborhood of the Zapillo, the part closest to the beach went from being most notable for puticlubs to a residential area for the middle classes, the dwellings were more cheap after the era of soaring prices in Spain , and the promenade is a place frequented by the Almeria, for a walk, do sports, with some street stalls, in summer also in the evening.
