  • What is a large convent, the trompe l'oeil are a beauty, though as explained to us, due to lack of liquidity can not follow with the works, it's funny that in the center of the Church are some benches to sit and see the wonder of the ceiling.

  • It's what remains of the convent of the same name that currently is not dedicated to the cult and is in process of restoration but its great central nave as well as its beautiful Dome, can be visited walls and what was the altar this beautifully adorned with Baroque paintings

  • If externally all churches in Almagro saved the same soberness and boredom, this temple eyes de-sacralized for enjoyment of onlookers and tourists are surprised to whoever comes in it. For 2 euros you already warn that the best Baroque Temple of Castilla La Mancha, and perhaps ea an excess, but the frescoes preserved almost fill entirely the whole of the central Nave, vaults and the altar, in which note the lack of one altarpiece. With a variety of colors, shapes, icons the space stands out against the blank that still makes it stand out more. Leaving all the interior space to look up, to the front, sides, back, gaze is lost between the bright colors that have been restored paintings that appear to be recent. All images are for religious reasons, but giving free rein to the imagination to details of america or the Castilian fields. The surprise of its interior is hard to forget, not finding a comparable in memory Memorial, as if in architecture and sculpture, the temple lacks full of interest, are these colourful frescoes that call the attention and curiosity.
