  • The Central market of Alicante, is incredible. From the outside, you see an eclectic building which is much of what the majority of the markets. Once inside you will get all kinds of food at very good prices and very fresh. You will have to choose between a lot of cuts of meat; meat from other countries and you can choose between the different offers of each area in terms of chicken, chicken, pig, rabbit, beef. Also in you can enjoy a drink and chop as there are some places where you can sit and eat some tapas and drink a Mojito. Of course, also choose among the great variety of cooked meats at very good prices, since there are a few shops only deli. In the lower part of the building you will find nuts, fruits and vegetables, some with their very particular style but now I say unto you, all very fresh at very affordable prices. Finally on this floor you will find also the area of fishing, one of the busiest since it has a wide variety of options both in price and fish and seafood. No doubt if you are going to Alicante you can not miss at Central market. Will be worth the penalty.

  • Only the building itself is almost worth a visit, it's clearly cool. Supply in there is wide and varied. Much more fun than traditional shops.

  • Love visiting this market even if we have nothing in particular to buy. We always wind up buying seasoned olives, cured tuna and sausages, and flowers.

  • A great experience and really interesting. Wish we Had a market like this where we live in the UK.
  • Almost worth a visit to Alicante in itself - what an awesome range of fish, meat, vegetables and other things. For me this is a 'must see' in Alicante.
  • Absolutely the best fresh market in Alicante. Outstanding selection of fresh meats, fish and vegetables. If you come on Saturdays, you get to experience it all first hand 😊 Mondays are really quiet if the hustle and bustle are not your thing. Nice courtyard adjacent with food and a flower market.
  • Superb market. Everything is fresh from fish to fruit and veg. Cakes and meat!
  • Pescado y marisco espectacular
