Categories: History Museums, Museums
MARQ Provincial Archaeological Museum is an award-winning museum featuring archeological displays about the residents of this area. Located in a renovated historical building that was once a hospital, its eight galleries educate you on lives of the past, from ancient to modern times. The rooms are designed in different forms according the time period, so you’ll experience everything from caves to a sailing ship known as a galleon. Videos and interactive computer programs are fun ways to learn here, but consider taking a guided tour if you can’t read in Spanish. Temporary exhibits are often traveling through, so check the website in advance. Good visit.. 2 hours of nice time if you are interested in archeology and history on Alicante
Nice place to visit, I visited it on the museum day (free entry), and it has interesting pieces, all found in the province of alicante
What a fantastic place to spend a couple of hours,We used the earphones for the english descriptions and short movies a couple of euros each for entry and the audio link .But the whole experience was expanded by the most curtious and helpful staff at the reception and in the cafe. If the owner reads this give the staff a payrise. Stayed Alicante 3.8.11 to 15 8 11. Catch the Number 02 bus from anywhere and it drops you right outside the doors
Cada temporada exposiciones nuevas muy interesantes
