  • Building is the' best part of the visit and also the way the items are displayed but nothing is in english (or any other language - only Spanish) - no audio ! no shop ! no pamphlet or written guide - ...  more »
  • The collection, very well exposed and documented, can be exciting for those who want to learn more and enter the atmosphere of Alicante at the end of the 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th century. Its painters and local intellectuals, the relationship with Madrid and abroad, the emergence of a new provincial bourgeoisie. Apart from a masterpiece of Mario Fortuny repatriated from Madrid, looks that the bourgeois elites of Alicante have been pretty stingy with their Museum, aside from their enormous worldly portraits, their private collections should always adorn their walls. Same reflection for the donation of the ground floor.

  • There's some lovely paintings in here and it is worth a visit. It is small (only two floors) so can be seen in just an hour. The gallery is two minutes from the beach and so easy to find.
  • A wonderful little gallery. This is a retreat full of treasures and because it's small there is no pressure to spend hours. It's still a marvel in which there is much to be learned.
  • Good location for the place to know local culture.
  • Accessible to the public with guided tours and dramatised visits. Permanent and traveling collections. Always interesting to visit
