We thoroughly enjoyed this museum. It was beautiful, air conditioned, peaceful and friendly and free. What more could you want!
Tiene algunos cuadros realmente espectaculares. Organizan visitas teatralizadas. Puede ser cansino para quienes no gusten de retratos, hay muchísimos. You have some really spectacular pictures. Organized tours. It can be tiresome for those who do not like portraits, there are many.show original

Ignacio Maza AlonsoIt has a very good collection of painting from the 19th century. Perhaps it lacks expand its picture gallery with more outstanding works and increase the lighting, since there are very dark areas and pictures are not well appreciated.show original
Josep Lluis MiraThe permanent collection (the route of an artist) is a success of composition and design. The direction of the Museum and the technicians have done a magnificent job. Remember those times in which pictorial funds from the provincial Council of Alicante were hung, without order or concert, in the walls of the Palace (many logically remained in stores). The MUBAG, although non-Museum "Star" of the provincial Council (this honor set aside it at the MARQ) is today an essential cultural tour in Alicante which is also very well complemented by temporary exhibitions and concerts (and stating that it has nothing to do with the provincial government, or the Museum...)show original
Traceur GatoGreat exhibitions, but even better performance in their exciting guided tours: some commented... and some represented. =^..^ = Great exposure of the vital context of Joaquín Sorolla.show original
