  • Soldier-monks who built most of the castle (13th-14th century) that is preserved today on a hill overlooking the town.
  • I arrived late and I could not do the guided tour, so I had to settle for walk outside, but even so I thought it was an impressive site. I look forward to go back and visit it calmly.

  • This is a very comfortable and clean hotel. Beautiful room, very large. The service is excellent and very friendly. The receptionist was most helpful. Very nice breakfast. Close to the castle. Great value for money.
  • Un sitio tranquilo y preciosas vistas.
  • Ideal location, at the skirts of the Church Santa Maria Maggiore and with wonderful views to the Calatrava Castle of Alcaudete. Rooms are spacious, decorated in a simple way but at the same time elegant, the beds are very comfortable (will note the quality of the mattresses and pillows), the bathroom is large, fluffy towels (no paper sandpaper as some top quality hotels). For people travelling with children, beds are beds of the truth, none of prison beds. The wonderful breakfast, freshly squeezed fruit juice 100% natural coffee (the real coffee will appreciate it), freshly baked bread (nothing of bimbo bread) with its fresh tomato and olive oil from the Earth... a luxury (you can buy oil in the guesthouse). You can also enjoy a good snack on its terraces, that accompanied by the view of the place will make you feel at peace, completely disconnected from the hustle and bustle of the big city. About the Hospice staff... just have very good words to them, always attentive to what you might need, with a smile on your face from first thing in the morning, make you feel really at home. Even if you need it, indicate you places to visit in the surroundings of the area and even restaurants where enjoy fine cuisine without bleed to the Pocket. Parking is easy and close. My wife and I spent a few days and no doubt we will repeat.
