The Ciudad del Motor de Aragón, also known as Motorland Aragón, is a 5.344km motorsport race track located near Alcañiz, Spain.The circuit has been designed by well-known German architect Hermann Tilke in conjunction with the British architectural firm Foster + Partners. Formula One driver and Ferrari test driver Pedro de la Rosa is a technical and sporting consultant on the project.The facility has been designed to incorporate three main zones – a technology park, a sports area and a leisure and culture area. The technology park will feature research and educational institutes related to the motor industry, the sports area will include the racing circuit (with multiple layouts), a karting track and various gravel circuits, whilst the leisure and culture section will feature a hotel, business centre and shopping facilities.It was announced on 26 May 2008 that the circuit will host a round of the World Series by Renault in 2009, the first international championship to race at the venue. The event has returned to Aragón every year since then. sono stato a girare 3 gg in questo circuito nuovo, inaugurato 9 anni fà, box larghi, tutto ben ideato, sala briefing sala ristorante molte prese di corrente anche nel paddock. terrazza panoramica sul ... more »I was shooting 3 days in this new circuit, opened 9 years ago, baggy, all well devised, briefing room restaurant room many outlets even in the paddock. panoramic terrace on the circuit. toilets and showers. the track is fast, a mixed technical with some grappling hooks hard to deal with. 4 curve input and 16 fast pay close, but close attention to 2 because in the cold and the wind is easy to miss on the front end. 1/3 of falls in 3 days it happened there. the hard part is connecting the curves 9-10-11 to get to the detached 12 blind. The escape routes for luck. one of the best European circuits. not suitable for families because it really isolated from everything.
A great circuit with modern facilities. The staff are friendly, catering is good and with its wide open location, it’s a brilliant place to be working in the great outdoors. more »
For a true Spanish atmosphere for the motorbike race lover, you can't beat Motorland Aragon. In the middle of the desert, the traffic in and out is a blessing (compared to other circuits I've been to) more »

World SBK and MotoGP race track. I prefer watch SBK races, are more familiar and close riders
Fantastic track. Quite technical but very long straight for the speed freaks. Can be a little windy as its on top of a hill. Eats tyres.
