  • With the score that I have given, I try to be fair valuing the guided tour and the same attraction in themselves, that otherwise would be at MAX. The paintings are a real graphics document of the time were made and therefore interesting, almost unpublished. They alone are already worth the trip. It is a pity that a guide to ruin what could be a great experience. We do not know its name, it is not presented. It was a young man who seemed to repeat what they knew about the monument, dedicated exactly 25 minutes to show us the complete set and seemed to be doing a favor to eight people who we componíamos the group, six British and us two in a bored tone. We feel embarrassed. It was on November 4 at the 16.15. I do not intend to harm anyone, only to describe what we live and hope some head to read this, because with its attitude, the guide is devaluing the heritage that must be defended.

  • We did the guided visit to the Castle but it was insufficient. For 4 euros not lasted half an hour and they are limited to teach you the cloister and 3 rooms.

  • The castle is now a parador. It is very complete. Remaining Romanesque paintings. And a beautiful Romanesque chapel. In the 18TH century it was rebuilt largely by a relative of the Bourbons. so that is two times. In addition to the construction of the hostel, very well built with the rest of the building. Without contrstes

  • Relationship service, quality, price. Very acceptable.

  • Unfortunately what is "visited" the castle is rather little and virtually everything is absorbed by the Parador de Alcañiz, to which there is no access if you're not staying. Also added additional buildings to the Parador, which original castle is rather low. You can visit the courtyard of Parador, which gives access to a small cloister and three rooms of the old castle which has been preserved very little except for partial ceiling paintings and little more. There is a choice of guided tour € 4 which I think is quite simple for the price which has. It also gives me the feeling that that money will be used for the conservation and/or restoration of the Castle.

  • Old Castle of the order of the Calatrava in 1179 which was ceded by Alfonso ll. In 2002 was inaguraron definitely the present facilities of what is now the current Parador Nacional.
