  • We are a marriage of Valencia. We have been staying this weekend, thanks to a gift from daughters and nephews they made us. The Parador, charming, both how facilities staff, reception, restaurant, cafeteria, as equally the Guide, when we visited the Castillo.La food, delicious and very well served by a very professional waitresses. Breakfast, equally, and a tremendous selection. The cafeteria, cosy and very good service. Alcañiz, worth visiting it. It has a rich history, as well as the whole of the Castle and Parador. Again, no doubt.

  • We were staying this week. Clean and quiet room. The place is an exceptional place. We visit the torre del homenaje (upon payment of €4 uros) with local guide (rather bland indeed...). It is worth staying. The people of reception, a pass.

  • Unfortunately what is "visited" the castle is rather little and virtually everything is absorbed by the Parador de Alcañiz, to which there is no access if you're not staying. Also added additional buildings to the Parador, which original castle is rather low. You can visit the courtyard of Parador, which gives access to a small cloister and three rooms of the old castle which has been preserved very little except for partial ceiling paintings and little more. There is a choice of guided tour € 4 which I think is quite simple for the price which has. It also gives me the feeling that that money will be used for the conservation and/or restoration of the Castle.
