  • Who can tell one of your mother or your House?, as the Fortaleza de La Mota, is kindergarten, the schoolyard, the corner of the Park, the throne of House and I hope that it is the work that the old man always looks to pass the time. I think he has explained with such metaphors, if you want it with synonyms, it would be that Marvel, wonder, amazement, admiration, amazement, fascination, beauty, jewel, charm, dream, primor, uniqueness, a dream...

  • It is advisable to take the leadership in the Church, so that you will be notified about the whole historical details.

  • Excellent visit, where you can relive times past, very well preserved. It is amazing to see the caves underground that have managed to rehabilitate to visit them. I recommend seeing her and enjoy in them.

  • Great. Really enjoyed the hilltop. You can also then drive though town to the hills opposite for a view back.
  • La Mota is like the Alhambra without the crowds. After years of work and millions of euros of investment La Foraleza de la Mota is the proudest landmark of Alcala. It has looked after the town for centuries, and will continue to do so for many more.
  • The best time to see it is probably in the morning or before the sunset. We were happy to see the village from the fortress while everything was still in mist :)
  • Beautiful, interesting, well preserved/restored and cheap (6€). Expect a 2 to 3h visit. Great place!
  • Very well-preserved castle, it's bigger than it seems (3-4 hours/visit).
