  • This is an open air museum from the "Palacio Arzobispal" and the old city walls to along the "Via Complutense". It has about 150-many objects. Figurative, abstract and cubic style. Beautiful and nice to have along on foot. Moreover, it is free!

  • It is a Museum of sculptures to the outside on the street. Enjoy the sculptures giving a pleasant stroll in Alcalá de Henares. Free and recommended for use with children.

  • This tour of sculptures is little exploited. In general, Alcalá citizens do not understand and tourists are seldom stop to admire it. Proof of this is that some of the criticisms listed here speak as something negative that they are oxidized. Many of the sculptures are steel cut, precisely the beauty of this material is that with the passage of time is gaining in oxide. As a historian of art and alcalaina I love is to conduct workshops to this space that you can get lots of play and bring to the general public the particularities of contemporary art. Particularly, since I was a child, and peddled on the grass of the wall I have amazed me with these sculptures that made me dream.

  • The Museum of sculpture al Aire Libre de Alcalá de Henares was born in 1991 at the initiative of the sculptor José Noja. It opened in August 1993 and is located in two urban sections of the city: around the walls that protect the archiepiscopal Palace and along the Complutense. More than 50 sculptures make up the collection, which aims to be the biggest in Europe such as the open air museum.
