  • highly recommended visit, lovely Luna Castle, visit also free and guided, there are visits both morning and afternoon, I recommend going in the morning in these months. All very well explained. From the day 15/08/17 of the villa of ALBURQUERQUE Medieval Festival begins you have to go all the people is set.

  • A repaired Castle, not too much but just enough to make a visit on your own. Friendly people and exceptional skill in preserving the original aspect. I visited this place in 1985 and in 2017, both tim...  more »
  • I could say, without fear to be wrong, that this castle is the strong point of the villa of Alburquerque. The location, close to "scratch it" (i.e., to the border with Portugal), makes that today we find a construction of such features. Its main structure and part of its walls are preserved very well and you can access most of the areas during their visit. That is, in addition, which makes that it deserves five star: it is free and guided, and guide are friendly and charming. Practically became a US custom tour, where he told us part of the history, meanings and references of the different rooms. It shows that it is proud of the Castle and Alburquerque. I don't want to gut over the visit, except that if you're in the area, it is worth visiting it. Especially during the medieval festival, in mid-August, where all the old part of the town seems to travel back in time. Or during the living passion which is represented in Easter and has the Castle as a backdrop.

  • We loved this castle. One of the most beautiful and best preserved I have ever visited, if not the best. We loved the tour, very detailed and with full availability by the lady who conducted the visit! Very well maintained, with a phenomenal view. Site does not pay, we leave a little help for maintenance/local expenses. Hard times for opening doors, only with guided tour. 11:00; 12:00; 1:00 pm; 5:00 pm; 6:00 pm. I strongly recommend!

  • Very rebuilt Castle of s. 13th with an enormous Gothic arch inside which is miles from Albuquerque. You can visit with guide and is free. A luxury. The walls are breathtaking and unique view of the environment. At the foot of the Jewish quarter which is worth visiting. In the tourist office which is located in the Centre you can realize free tour also.

  • A beauty of a castle with curiosities and unique things that don't know you to explain. A disappointment of guide... a brunette... explanations jousting and missed you to give us a kick in the ass out.

  • Nice very well preserved Castle. Free guided visits to the 11, 12 and 13: 00 and in the evening. As paste, guide that explained it was going too fast and spoke softly.
