  • It is a small but care Museum in detail in all aspects. It's been a review by the history of the province in a clear and orderly way. All this in a splendid space as it is the work of the Albacete Architect Antonio Escario getting to distinguish spaces without partition, all thanks to the travels and changes of both vertical and horizontal planes. Note also the exhibition of painting based on Benjamin Palencia, not well known, but of great interest and value.

  • Very interesting museum exhibits both the architecture of the building. A review of the history very well structured. It has surprised me for good, I recommend it. If I had to put some "but" it would be just the lack of interactive elements. I have really enjoyed it.

  • It has a fantastic collection of archaeology. To highlight areas in which Iberian pieces found in different parts of the province are exposed. There are some reproductions, but also really interesting originals. We entered a Saturday afternoon, and in the 2 hours we employ to walk its halls, only we met two people, so we could enjoy the Museum as if it were a private visit.

  • The Albacete Provincial Museum is housed in a building designed ad hoc by the Architect Antonio Escario in the Decade of the seventies of the last century, in which dominate the spacious and airy spaces and warm materials. The Museum emphasizes especially the archaeological collection; they are of importance the areas devoted to Iberian culture (ex-votos, funerary figures...) and Roman (mosaics, ceramics, dolls Ontur...), without detracting from other sections that cover the entire temporary space through the provincial sites. In the fine arts section emphasizes the collection of Benjamín Palencia. The entry is economic, but even on Sundays in the morning is free at midday ten-to-two hours.

  • A place of must-see is the history of the province with a large number of unique archaeological sites. There is also a temporary exhibition that tend to be of great interest. Re-fuel at anyone who passes through the city, mandatory.
