  • The other reviewers are right - it's a curving, narrow drive up to the Restaurante Es Verger, where they don't seem to mind if you park, and then an hour's walk up to the castle, but (if you are weari...  more »
  • As walks go it's ok, but there are many better on the island and there's not much to see of the castle.
  • Front: Drive by car up to the restaurant! Even though the route because up in some places is quite narrow and it's very bumpy - that want you not run! If you arrived at the restaurant, then take not the parking lot which is right on the left side, but still 10m moving and puts you right on the great! You can see over the fact easily if you don't know that there is one. From the restaurant you walk at a normal pace definitely under 1 h to the top. I am actually not very quickly ran and took 42 min. 1, 5 h - as some people here write - are so rubbish. The way upwards runs are beautiful and offers great views in some places. Top you have a great panoramic view. Don't forget two things above don't look or can see: 1 is to the left. The trail is a little climb, but there there are no one and you have the best view from there! You just didn't see that in the beginning. 2. go to the right! Behind the trees a building waiting for the small mountain up you with benches, coffee and cakes. You don't see that if you don't know that there is something. A toilet not there but there

  • An excellent, fun hike from the town of Alaró up the hill to the old castle ruins. Here you’ll find a hostel! And some very friendly donkeys :)
  • Very nice walk from Alaro, two hours. Well marked path in a variant of the GR-221 Dry Stone Route network. We had dinner here, and bed&breakfast. Very friendly staff, good food, nice room and stunning views from this 800 meter heights, 1100 year old fortress. And very reasonably priced, 30 Euro for bed and half pension.
  • Made with 2 children the hike, which obviously had fun. You must allow approximately 2 hours with short breaks. Water is very important to take. The views are simply beautiful. A beautiful activity if the weather at times doesn't look like beach.

  • It is my second home, from there you can see the Serra de Tramuntana, the Pla de Mallorca, the bays of Palma and Alcúdia, is a vantage point where you relax perfectly. If you can take advantage and stay to sleep in the guesthouse.

  • Incredible panoramic views of the Serra de Tramuntana. Landmark in our history. There is a mountain shelter open year-round.
