  • If you were visiting the cueva pintada in Galdar and you saw how they lived pre-Hispanic peoples, you can't beat this site: the place of life after death. Crossing the village of Agaete you arrive at a convenient parking and after a short walk you are dealing with a completely different landscape of the coast and Wilder. If you refine the eye will perceive in the middle of the lava mounds of stones that hold the remains of the ancient inhabitants of the island. The site is very impressive, the location is very convenient, suitable for those who have mobility problems, as it goes over duckboards (in contrast to the Arteara necropolis that is more difficult to explore). It is not very crowded and the atmosphere is magical, an absolute calm and merger with spectacular nature that surrounds the site.
