Jangsaengpo Whale Museum is a history museum located in Jangsaengpo, Nam-gu, Ulsan, South Korea. It is the only whale museum in South Korea. The museum details Ulsan's history of whaling. Whaling was banned in South Korea in 1986, but whaling artifacts were kept and are now on display in the museum which is built in what was once a central whaling area. Learnt a lot from observing the specimens and reading the information provided. It would be good if dual languages are made available for foreigners to understand further.
Good for taking my family and playing there.
It's gonna new experience for those who don't have idea about the whales and it's hunting. (Different kinds of whales and its Whales skeletons with 1:1 ratio) Also Aquarium available next to whales musuem, where you can see the Dolphins shows and colourful fish tanks Mono rail is added recently which takes you above the whales village for a quick tour(15-20 minutes) Overall can experience good if you are new to above
They need to renovate it and make it more interesting. Way too small.
Attended the opening ceremony of the museum and have enjoyed watching the development of its programs over the years. Kid friendly and worth a visit.
