  • This is the medium level for people who want to conquer the peak, it takes 4 hours to climb up and down.
  • Unfortunately, this rock doesn’t have those wow factor. Given the fact that this is in Korea, it might be great. But if you’re from States, don’t bother to come. It’s not even a state monument grade.
  • Really wonderful place for hiking. Worth the climb!! It might be little difficult for some to climb lots of stairs but the view from top is worth it.
  • This is a pretty tough hike with a steep incline that is made up of rocks and stairs the entire way up. Combine that with the humidity and it makes for a rough one. The topography doesn't lend itself well to walking and the last stretch from the boulder to the top of the mountain gets even steeper since they literally built stairs to reach the summit! All the sights and views made it well worth the effort so great hike !!
  • This place is a Great hike and is an exceptionally Beautiful area. Unfortunately and fortunately I went when it was super misty, which means I could not see most of the surrounding areas. However, it is still a remarkable place to visit when it is misty. It felt like some mystical magical place... king arthur and The Mist of Avalon vibes. There is an immense amount of things to do and things to see, so unless you are planning on camping here for the night (yes, you can camp here... I'd recommend make a booking to be safe) it is best to visit the Seoraksan area very early. Pack a lot of water as the area is extremely humid, pack a few snacks for your hike and remember to bring a camera. There are a few restaurants at the entrance, but given the amount of things to do and to see, it might be best to keep those for last. On the journey you will also find the big bronze Buddha and a brilliant souvenir shop... for the Pokemon fans, there is a few Pokemon gyms and stops on the way. Most people don't bother checking their phones there, so it might just be a gym you can keep for a while.
