Religious Site Tourist Spot
The oldest Zen temple in the world, Sinheungsa serves as a pilgrimage destination for believers from all over the globe, as well as a popular tourist site. You can take a cable car or go by foot through the intact nature to reach the architectural marvel of the temple which, because of its colorful, intricate design, is often considered work of art. See the painted and engraved walls and sculptures, of which the bronze statue of Buddha stands out as the most significant. If you're lucky, you might get to see some clothes belonging to a famous monk, which appear on display every once in a while.
