  • Nothing great about this electronics market. I have been to electronics market in Hong Kong and Tokyo. So compared to that nothing special. I'd say it's overpriced and you see NO TOURISTS there. Won't...  more »

  • Probably my favorite place in Korea. The yongsan electronics Market sells Electronics in several different buildings. The main building has almost 10 floors of cellphones, computers, appliances, and video games. The surrounding buildings have everything you can imagine that the big building has, but they are much cheaper. I bought my cell phone from here, and my laptop. For the gamers out there, I recommend going out Exit 3, looking for the massive gaming sign, and going underground there. It is the coolest gaming area I probably ever seen!
  • Kind of losing it's luster, these days. Most people would go to the big box stores to buy things, or maybe buy online. Electronics Market is really a holdover from a bygone era. It's still a cool place to visit, check out all of the old and new stuff available. You can also still buy extremely high-end things here, if that's your interest.
  • Great place to get your tech gear. Check for prices online (sites like 11th and Gmarket have coupon sales which could make certain things cheaper). Also haggle - you can get an additional 8-11% off when paying cash.
  • Don't go here looking for electronic components. It's great for appliances and products, but if you're looking for small components, you won't find them here.
  • I love this place. Even I bought a new phone here.
