Tapgol Park, Seoul
(3.1/5 based on 80+ reviews on the web)
One of the first modern urban oases in Korea, Tapgol Park makes a good getaway from the bustle of the city streets. Well-established trees, carefully manicured flower beds, and abundant sculptures create a relaxing atmosphere to sit or picnic in. Look for the onsite national treasure, the 12 m (32.8 ft), ten-tiered stone Wongaksa Pagoda. Encased in a glass box, the pagoda dates from 1467; many historians consider it one of the finest examples of Joseon dynasty pagoda art in existence. • This is where the independence of Korea nationals, originally named "pagoda Park", is a small public park, and is part of a Buddhist temple. Currently, there are still keeping the Stone Pagoda located at beautiful engraving them in the cover glass.

  • It is a park located in Jongno. Stone pagodas, such as old stone monuments and tombstones are preserved and displayed in the big glass case, is as valuable as the second designated as a national treasure. There was relief 3.1 independence movement memorial monument, you can see that. Was not recognized as a tourist destination and a guide, I had a visit with Japanese group. The central octagonal pavilion seems to be where the Declaration of independence was read. I'm in a quiet Park break can be like.

  • While the park is kind of small it is delightful. there are always cute, sometimes drunk, old men there. it's a great place to sit for a bit if you're needing a pause from the packed streets of insa-dong.
  • This park is quite small, actually. But it is located near Insa-dong and is one of historical site in Seoul. Worth to visit
  • Here is one of the most famous historical park in Seoul Jongro-3ga.
  • Small park with historical monuments from 15th century. On the right side of this park is small road with many restaurants. There is located one of my favourite in this area where you can find very cheap but superb spicy beef soup, cold noodle soup, grilled pork, bibimbap and dumplings.
  • Neat little memorial park with a lot of old people around.
