  • I really enjoyed this museum. A gentleman volunteer was my guide and I was able to learn a lot. I highly recommend! There is a small scale map of Seoul that was so impressive. I really loved it here
  • We spent 5 hours going thru the exhibits. The museum has 3 floors of extensive information. The restaurant in the museum has a great selection of food plates which were affordable.

  • The museum is free of charge and gives a nice overview of Seoul's history. I especially liked the modern history. Make you check temporary exhibitions. I was lucky to see the exhibition of photos from French photographer. In my opinion he has a peculiar point of view about the modern changes in Seoul.
  • Very glad we checked out this museum while in Seoul. Great history of the country, plus some extra exhibits.
  • Really liked this museum, seems to be one of the more overlooked museums. But it gives a real insight into the history of Seoul and acts as a microcosm for the rest of South Korea. Plus the scale model of Seoul is awesome.
  • First the address is: 55, Saemunan-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul, South Korea ‎according to google earth. The address posted is to Seoul Station which is south of the Museum. Enjoyed the way the culture and history was captured specifically for Seoul from the onset of the Joseon Dynasty to the now spectacular metropolitan city.
  • You can see an amazing hostorical tour within this building. If you are into urban planning, they have a model of Seoul City urban planning. Nice place, worth a visit.
