  • Great museum! Very well kept exhibits and free entry! There are lockers to store your bags, bathrooms on every floor, and even a water dispenser on the first floor. There's also a cafe and library. Easy to find, and if you go on weekends there might be an open market as well. Highly recommend going!
  • A small art gallery. It is worth a visit but not worth centering the day around it. Takes around 30 minutes to see everything. Interesting but small.
  • This place is a great. You can see multiple exhibitions there and without paying anything.
  • Very nice place. It has own cafe and library inside.
  • It was under construction when my mom and i went unfortunately but from what was available, we were pleased

Where to stay in Seoul

The Seoul metropolitan area has two districts especially appealing to backpackers--Jongno just northeast of the city, and Hongdae to the west. Both offer good shopping and dining, as well as easy transport links to the rest of the city. Mid-range options may prove difficult to find in peak season (July to August), unless you don't mind staying at a traditional hanok guesthouse, where loads of character make up for any lack of amenities. Finally, a range of top-end hotels with an impressive list of services and facilities lie scattered around the city.
