Stunning architecture draws visitors to Seoul Central Masjid, the first Islamic mosque in Korea. The first floor houses the Korean Muslim Federation office and a meeting room. Upstairs, the second floor holds the men’s prayer hall; the third floor houses the women’s. The building serves as educational institution for children where they can learn about Islamic religion and culture. As you find your way there, you'll traverse a steep, uphill road where you can see incredible views. A restaurant nearby serves Korean dishes. Keep in mind that only Muslims can enter the mosque. • Very beautiful mosque looking over the great city of Seoul. You can come and learn more about Islam and pick up some books and take amazing pictures.
  • Kinda hard to find for me. Very peaceful place. Lots of restaurants around. Also a great view of the city.
  • The mosque is located south of Namsan Park. This is a great, very modern building in a typically Eastern style. The Middle East, rather than the far East. At first glance, the surprising presence of mosque in Seoul (not Baghdad, and not even southern Europe!), but really, in the capital of South Korea, quite a lot of Muslims. In our hostel, for example, the kitchen was two refrigerators: one for all, and the other for Muslims halal! Moreover, this fact is absolutely not disturb all have breakfast and prepare in the same room. Nakakih problems: our Muslim neighbours have been very polite and friendly people. Women in hijabs can be found on the streets of Seoul, very often: as tourists and "local", settled in Korea, apparently, not so long ago. The world is our common home.
