  • It is always worth a visit. Not everything is described in English, but still get a good impression. Many attempts to portray "real", it is worked with interactions, touch screens, images, videos, sound. You can feel in the time into it and learns a bit more of the Korean past. A large Museum with staff at a fair price.

  • Unlike other reviews I felt a little disappointed with the availability of English translations (about 2/3rd of all signs) or English subtitles on videos (only 1 out of 4/5) as without a guide I'd lik...  more »
  • Here's a look back to when I was a kid I had a sense of color. Places to come to see the idea is not taken lightly. I feel the atmosphere from the entrance was heavily. When I saw the exhibition hall to see a brochure of the ASA, buy buy buy, Duke 12-11 jade jade Hansen's private memorial service followed by a non-death penalty chapter was prompt. The trial of record, number of columns, the line memento photos of the atrocities of the Japanese discussion. Shocking to me is of course B1 was a torture chamber. Setting up breasts so ill to reproduce. One can know the history of our nation, every once in a while into space just to get there.

  • Sickeningly graphic exhibits of torture equipment and account of torture. Descriptions are heavily one sided and don't feel like a fair and accurate history. That aside this is an important piece of history, well preserved, well presented, well organised and worth a visit if you have the stomach for it.
  • Very interesting and informative museum. If you're at all interested in recent history you will definitely enjoy it. Only 3,000 won to get in so definitely worth it. If you go and actually try to learn about the war then it'll probably take 1-1.5 hours of your time.
  • Not everyone will find it interesting. Shows a lot of history between Japan and Korea. If you are into this sort of thing then you will enjoy. Defiantly not a must see. If you need to choose something to skip while you are in Seoul then this is it.
  • A very good place that i have visited many times for knowledge and learning about this sad time in Korean history
  • It's really superb experience!! It was actually a bit scary to imagine the life of the prisoner during the Japanese colonization. You will learn how Japanese treat the prisoner during the war, as well as hopes and dreams from the prisoners to be independence arose here. If you follow the route provided, you will fully enjoy your trip to the museum. It was indeed really nice to learn about the history!
