  • Located within the Samsung Electronics building in Seocho-dong, Seoul, ‘Samsung d’light’ is a global exhibition space that showcases the latest product lineup by Samsung Electronics. The name d’light combines the words ‘digital’ and ‘light’ to correlate with the company’s vision of being ‘a guiding light to the digital world’ and sharing the excitement and delight of digital technology through interaction with visitors. The ‘d’ also carries with it the connotation of ‘dynamic,’ ‘dream,’ and ‘diversity.’ The three-storied exhibition space is not merely a display of electronic products, but a space of interaction that allows visitors to experience new life patterns through state-of-the-art digital technology categorized by theme. It is comprised of the digital lounge & shop (B1F), the mobile plaza (1F), and global gallery (2F) that features hands-on activities. • It is a fun place to go if you are in the area and like Samsung products. There is a few hands on sections which are fun and there is a large shop on the basement floor. I recommend visiting.
  • Nice, short, experience to have on an off day. Has all the current samsung tech for you to peruse and a vr demonstration with articulating chair to simulate movement. Upstairs has home and classroom mockups of how Samsung sees the future of tech integration.
  • It's a really cool experience for being free. You get to see all the latest and greatest that Samsung has to offer. It's very interactive. There's also a store in the lower level you could buy just about anything Samsung but be prepared to pay a pretty penny. If you are in the area I would say you should totally check it out. Shouldn't take more than an hour to get through the place.
  • If you are Samsung headquarter of Seoul, you can visit here. This place is located on B1 floor and has a lot of Samsung products like laptops, smartphones, smartwatches, accessories.

Where to stay in Seoul

The Seoul metropolitan area has two districts especially appealing to backpackers--Jongno just northeast of the city, and Hongdae to the west. Both offer good shopping and dining, as well as easy transport links to the rest of the city. Mid-range options may prove difficult to find in peak season (July to August), unless you don't mind staying at a traditional hanok guesthouse, where loads of character make up for any lack of amenities. Finally, a range of top-end hotels with an impressive list of services and facilities lie scattered around the city.
