  • I found the shop on the 6th floor of DOOTA Mall (Dongdaemun) called Arirang very rude. They sell all sorts including the 777 nail clippers which I went for. The shopkeepers were not interested in me b...  more »

  • Great shopping mall landmark in Dongdaemun area. There is a Line shop on ground floor at the entrance of the building. There is also duty free shop on the higher floors; it is not that big but I observed lot of tourists bought a big lot of cosmetic stuff. So I think the price should be inexpensive.
  • Medium to higher range stuff like clothings, bags and shoes and accessories. Styling more suitable for Korean. Although it is a duty free shopping. Not all section are duty free. When I visited, only the Line Friends section is duty free.
  • I don’t like to write a negative review, since the shop manager was racist I have to. The first time I went to CK, the girl didn’t allow me to try their clothing. I felt offended but I told myself maybe she was having a bad day, it’s okay. I went there again the second time on some other day and the same lady in the night shift, probably the manager at CK Jeans Store Doota Mall was rude again, she didn’t allow me to try T-Shirts, Belt or anything else. She allowed others to try except me, just because I am not korean, chinese or japanese does not mean I cannot afford CK. All the other brands worldwide have always allowed me to try their clothing and I have bought a lot of clothes without any hassle from other shopping malls and other big brands. This is the first time I have met someone like this. The mall manager or people should investigate into this matter and take action against people like this. We spend our hard earned money in foreign countries just to be treated like that? That’s not fair at all. I liked the 2 T-shirts a lot so I bought them without trying, and now the size is too big for me and I am sure that lady wont let me exchange the size. 140,000 won wasted at CK store, just because I wasn’t allowed to try the clothes before making my purchase. :)
  • Sadly, Doota Mall has lost much of its uniqueness and appeal since I first visited in 2014. Gone are all the small boutiques, where you can haggle with the enterprising shopkeepers. The mom-and-pop operated shops selling children"s clothes and household goods, the small stalls that sell cheap but interesting personal accessories have all been squeezed out. In their stead are the high-end local fashion designers, the global brands in sportswear and the ever ubiquitous Korean cosmetic stores.
  • Good. Doota Mall, 275 Jangchungdan-ro, Euljiro 6(yuk)-ga, Jung-gu, 서울특별시
