  • Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage list. To visit this park would require 3-4 hours. The road to the Park does not close, the area about 2 km with steep climbs and descents, so you need: comfortable shoes, jeans or sportivka and, depending on the season, a jacket or cardigan. Water and anything grab to nosh, all in a backpack. Only one entrance to the complex, you will need to first pass the road along it to the entrance of the Park. Entrance fee, a symbolic price-1000 Vonn. At the entrance give out information card in English, Korean languages. The complex includes three tombs, located in different parts of the Park. Each tomb is surrounded by large stone statues of humans and animals. The entire route lies comfortable hiking trails, wooden bridges, ladders. We were at the beginning of April, Sakura just started otcvetat′, Sakura petals falling softly to the ground. It was very nice. A bit unlucky, the day when it was cold and morning. 2 visited the Tomb, until the third did not, froze. From a hill a little further the second tomb of Panorama City. An unusual combination of ancient history with modernity! Despite the weather, it was not a few older couples and groups. PS. the toilets free, clean, but only at the entrance-exit from the complex.

  • Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty in Seoul and its surrounding areas is a complex and interesting funerary complexes. They include ceremonial gates, walkways, pavilions, yourself mounds and stone buildings and statues to them. At the same time with these common elements, each Tomb has its own interesting quirks. I visited, though not all, but from where I was, each interesting something. Statues of humans and animals sometimes are very picturesque.
