  • Hyeopjae Beach is arguably the most picturesque beach in Jeju. The emerald-colored water looks beautiful during the day and it’s one of the best sunset spots in the evening. The area is quite busy.....  more »
  • Nice views, nice place to take pictures, not a lot of beach front to relax or swim. Most of the area people relax and sunbath are away from the beach since most of the coast has lava rock. Fun place.....  more »
  • Don't judge, I know it was cold and all but we wanted to do something cool. Beach in the winter LOL XP  more »
  • Maybe best beach on Jeju... beautiful, clear water with offshore island. Camping available. Lots of little restaurants around. Worth a visit.
  • I literally stayed in front of the beach. Pros : Crystal clear beach, not deep so good place for family Cons : A bit windy so some tubes;including mine flied away, life guards don't let you go anywhere deep. I know that there are a number of Koreans who are not able to swim, but it's too cruel to swimmers who intend to go to deeper area to swim. Many life guards forbid people to go somewhere deeper than their chest. Honestly, in comparison with other countries, it's too strict. There is not swimming pool but beach
  • Best to come during Spring and early Summer
  • The view was amazing, crystal clear waters and beautiful scenery.
  • An amazing beach. Bazalt stones, yellow-whiye sand, green landscape and a clear blue water. An amazing beach with several restaurants at it's back. Best place to swim and enjoy beach time with kids. Lots of restaurants are nearby and nice cafes as well. Also good transportation to airport and other tourist attractions. Good priced three star hotels are aling the ocean side main road. Also canoe trips and fishings can be tried. Small in scale but worth a visit. Crystal clear water, white sand beach. And you can also see horses at the hill next to the beach! In Oct and the beach is very deserted and it is super windy and cold. The beach is picturesque. In summer beach is fully crowded. There are lifeguards during summer and as if the beach is shallow for a certain extent it’s kids friendly. Beautiful water! It's a great beach to relax at and always something happening in the summer time. Close to hiking. There are many events during summer like beach volleyball fiesta and some concerts. If you are in Jeju in Summer this is a must visit. There are washrooms and bathing areas for women and men separately. Go Enjoy!
