  • This temple is surprising not so much building itself in the traditional Oriental style, how much of a huge number of statues. But not harubanov, as everywhere on Jeju Island. The Buddha is surrounded by monks, and probably hundreds, if not thousand! Monks along stone fences sit in the Lotus position. And the ones that lined amphitheatre behind the gilded Buddha, figures very similar to women. Why is unclear, it is unlikely that Buddhists like to perpetuate all posledovatel′nic female religion.

  • Sure not the most beautiful Temple (of jeju) but if you are near the place, go and take a look. I can say that the Temple near the Sangbangsan Mountain is much more beautifull.
  • I'd go in the car, so public transport is the bus, a number of small. Near the mountain. It is a quiet temple.
