Bijarim Forest, Jeju
(4.4/5 based on 130+ reviews on the web)
At 800 years old and reaching 25 m (82 ft), the world's oldest nutmeg tree--“Ancestor tree of the Bija trees”--grows in the green oasis of Bijarim Forest. The evergreen forest contains around 2800 nutmeg trees between 500-800 years old, with their nutmeg known for its beneficial effect on the immune system. Walk around the picturesque pathways and breathe the fresh air, or sit on the park's benches and large rocks, enjoying the vista of rich treetops spreading like spider's webs. Feel the soothing ambiance and energizing power of the beautiful forest. Add Bijarim Forest and other attractions to your Jeju trip itinerary using our Jeju vacation planner.

  • Centered around a huge visa there are many types of hardwood trees like the overgrown jungles by forming a military rock. The forest is very beautiful and nice scent for spring scent behind piove. Four seasons dense and always constant green landscape. Unlike other tourist destinations to find it again every time you visit of Jeju-do. If you do not have access to some uncomfortable bus timetable the cacao taxis and rent-a-car, you must put to good use. Admission, but very affordable. Time course and the way it's a good idea to walk around without being bothered at all by the review.

  • Visa and pass through the healing and purifying both body and mind I've been able to do. Winter walking in the snow piled up in La is a little hard but small abdominal Himi summer as long as I've been gracious ^ ^

  • Bijarim means nutmeg and that's what the forest trail smells like. This pleasant smell will accompany you on the whole 40min-1hour stroll. The highlight is an 813 year old tree but throughout the trail you will see other tree species. Do be careful that the trail may become muddy on a rainy day (like the day I went) and I spent some time avoiding puddles. Nonetheless, there is a wash point for you to wash your feet or shoes at the exit of the forest! It is a very peaceful and calming place to clear your mind. Come to breathe in fresh air!
  • Nice short and easy walk through the forest
  • nice forest path be aware roads not stroller friendly although the map indicates accessible
  • A walk in the forest is good for lightly watered down in the forest
