Categories: Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
3.5/5 based on 75+ reviews on the web
Built in 1888, Freedom Park represents the first modern park in the country, with its design inspired by famous Western parks. Take a moderately difficult walk up the hill, where you can enjoy the view, and also admire the monument dedicated to General MacArthur, a celebrated warrior from the Korean War. Here you can learn more about the war and its consequences, as well as about other important moments in Korean history. The park serves as a venue for special occasions, such as festivals, concerts, and various performances, but on a daily basis it serves as a popular place for families to go on picnics and relax in the nature.
