  • The restrictions on the foreign view of the Korean House cannot be more dynamic, so even if there are still people living, it still looks like back in ancient times, because there is no store, the whole body to maintain a very pure Pot ~ The only hard point is that the participation of a little effort to climb the mountain walk, advice more to go to the mountains, the visual field is different Oh!

  • It is a surprise that people live in this village now village. Back in time like feeling. If you walk through the large village, walking shoes, summer hats and parasols is a necessity. I'm slowly discovering.

  • Had a lovely visit here to see the traditional Korean buildings and life. You could wander around at will and they marked out 4 prominent buildings to see, though most you could only see the front. Unfortunately not many villagers around and most of the local shops were closed when we visited.
  • Quiet village with traditional mud walled homes. Not very touristy which is great.
  • Beautiful historical clan village of the Son family and Yi family.
  • Nice folk village with some contrast with modern world (e.g. Satelite dishes on thatch roof.
  • Nice view for seeing traditional Korean house

Where to stay in Gyeongju

With 6 million tourists per year, Gyeongju offers a wide range of accommodations. The area around the Bomun Lake resort has several luxury hotels catering to the needs of Korean tour groups. More moderately priced hotels lie in the downtown area, notably in Nodong-Dong and Noseo-Dong quarters. Near the train station, you can find inexpensive guesthouses (yeoinsuk), motels, and hostels. Family-oriented mid-range hotels tend to cluster just east from the lake, but the tourist-friendly city has accommodations well distributed throughout.
