  • The quiet atmosphere of the old town in an enemy remains. UNESCO Chair in spite of the car or transportation is somewhat lacking is regrettable.

  • From the bus station in the city (203,208), will go to the intersection outside the village. Walking along the road to the village, there is an endless train station, and a railroad fan can see it. The village has a small school, to go to the usual day, watching the parents use the car to pick up the children, and then the "original" village, very interesting.

  • Although it is hotter but it's quaint villages to turn around to walk too good. Places to experience the children too all over the place. By the way, a little bit late I went a lot of places do not try for a weekend, get too bad.

  • open-air museum with a few notable historical houses from the past to observe. while i can imagine the abundance of history in this village, i don't really appreciate the entry fee that's charged for this place, since it doesn't particularly look like the money is being used to maintain the landmarks.
  • It is beautiful, but it doesn't look like a real village, more like an open air museum. One house to the others aren't very close to each other. I went there on a rainy day, still look nice but shoes got all wet and the tickets office was closed maybe it's free because the bad weather or maybe it's always free entrance, I don't know.
  • Had a lovely visit here to see the traditional Korean buildings and life. You could wander around at will and they marked out 4 prominent buildings to see, though most you could only see the front. Unfortunately not many villagers around and most of the local shops were closed when we visited.
  • Quiet village with traditional mud walled homes. Not very touristy which is great.
  • Special village for photos. u can download free official audio guide of Korea Tourism from Google Play

Where to stay in Gyeongju

With 6 million tourists per year, Gyeongju offers a wide range of accommodations. The area around the Bomun Lake resort has several luxury hotels catering to the needs of Korean tour groups. More moderately priced hotels lie in the downtown area, notably in Nodong-Dong and Noseo-Dong quarters. Near the train station, you can find inexpensive guesthouses (yeoinsuk), motels, and hostels. Family-oriented mid-range hotels tend to cluster just east from the lake, but the tourist-friendly city has accommodations well distributed throughout.
