Gyeongju National Park is located in the province of Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea, and is the country's only historical national park. It was first designated a national park in 1968. The park covers many of the principal Silla historical sites in Gyeongju City. Incontrerete ... read more »Gyeongju National Park, also known as Namsan is a mountain South of the city and is a very beautiful place that lends itself well to a wonderful walk "exploratory". You will find temples, pagodas, many stone Buddha and even Royal tombs and ruins of forts and palaces. Take a full day, and don't underestimate the place as we were doing ourselves. The tourist office will provide you with a detailed map. It's an attraction without schedules and costs.show original
We caught the bus out to Mount Namsan for the day & hiked up to the summit. Along the way there are plenty of tombs, ruins, relics and statues to admire - definitely an open museum, so much history. T... read more »
