  • Gyeongju National Museum isn’t that large but the quality makes up for the lack of quantity. The curators did a fantastic job of setting up the displays that make the Silla-era treasures look...  more »

  • 90% of everything is translated into multiple languages (including English). I've lived in Korea for a long time and didn't know how much i didn't know about how everything came to be. Very informative and enjoyable museum of Korean history.
  • Very interesting. Been on 2 occasions. They maintain exhibitions well and change them frequently too. Entrance was free both times!
  • Gyeongju is an "open museum," but the National Museum has many treasures that have been recovered from the Silla Dynasty's almost 1000 year existence. Unbelievably, the museum is open to the public at no charge!
  • Great historic experience for Silla, one of the strongest ancient dynasty. And shockingly it is free to all.
  • I love this place as much as Korean Historic National Museum in Seoul. There are many exciting and interesting samples from Silla Emperor from Buddhism to the other areas. There are many stone statues, bronze samples, old pictures. The story can be told like a good flow. I cant stop walking when I go inside the musem, from the history to the art. That's a good experience for me. Gyeongju is the only one city in South Korea where I want to come back. I love this old capital.
