The sprawling World Heritage Site of Gyeongju Historic Areas preserves the history and culture of the Silla Kingdom's ancient capital. Considered one of the largest outdoor museums in the world, the idyllic area contains ruins of temples, palaces, and pagodas, as well as many other cultural artifacts. • The amount of old buildings and monuments in such a small area is just impressive. It is very well kept and gardened. Koreans can be proud of this area.
