Where to stay in Gangneung

Gangneung offers a little rest and relaxation for many residents of the capital, so you'll find a good number of established accommodations here. The Gyeongpo Beach area has a welcome number of seafront hotels, from sprawling resorts to humbler guesthouses and the odd motel. The urban areas further inland feature several clusters of commercial and touristy developments, usually pretty close to the main train stations, with a good mix of standard hotels and guesthouses found here.
