Yuseong Hot Springs, Daejeon

Hot Spring Nature / Park
Give your feet a treat at Yuseong Hot Springs. Located outside, among tall shaded trees, the springs split into three pools that differ in depth and water temperature. One of the pools has special stones to stimulate the soles of your feet, while another one gets very hot, so it’s not recommended to stay in longer than half an hour. Choose which one suits you best, and after the obligatory foot bath, rinse your feet in cooler water and relax. You can also use the indoor spa in the hotel if you prefer staying inside. • Delicious feet bath for 20 to 30 minutes. Temperature of the water is 38-40 degrees. You relax wonderfully at the water, and really comes to rest. Busy place with sometimes a band that plays. Very worth a visit if you're in the area!

  • The Yuseong Hot Springs is definitely worth a visit! Especially after a day walking in the Gyeryongsan National Park is this with your feet in warm water. There were quite a lot of people when we visited, the sources after eating around an hour or 21.00-21.30. There are also several dining options around it where you can eat well! Really a must to get to.

  • Huson hotel beside the popular hot spring resort. Fee receipt w8000 around the entrance with numbers, and the number so far into the shoes. Shoes key are in the locker key (e),. So, first of all is safe, even if it has to. Complete frayed towels, towels, SOAP, etc, to bring not only the shampoo all you buy in. 3 place the bathtub and stricken, and open-air one, sauna and. Sometimes that rubs in the corner.

  • you don't often find free hot springs, esp in the middle of a middle city. You dont need to bring a towel because they have this air pump that can take off most of the water, but it is winter it might be helpfu
  • Lots of activities in the area...fyi the hot springs are not really the main focus of the area.
  • I took a trip here on a weekend -- though it's not recommended by one of the travel website due to a lot of tourists visiting during weekends. It was fine, anyway. Not many people; only a few tourists but mostly the locals. Two out of three pools were open. It was a nice experience to have your feet in the hot water on a chilly Sunday evening. The attraction is very easy to get to -- the subway (Daejeon Line 1) will take you straight to the area (station: Yuseong Spa). It'll take about 10mins walk from the station to the hot spring -- it's hard to miss it :)
  • The best foot spa ..

Where to stay in Daejeon

As with most sprawling cities, Daejeon offers a spectrum of accommodation options, ranging from the economical to the luxurious. For budget-friendly hostels, hotels, and “Jjimjilbangs” (overnight bath houses) look toward the intercity bus terminal district and the Old Town, just south of the Jungangno nightlife district. For western style mid-range hotels and luxurious four- and five-star lodgings on your Daejeon vacation, seek out the district surrounding the Yuseong Spa area, where close subway links allow easy access from which to explore rest of the city.
