Where to stay in Daejeon

As with most sprawling cities, Daejeon offers a spectrum of accommodation options, ranging from the economical to the luxurious. For budget-friendly hostels, hotels, and “Jjimjilbangs” (overnight bath houses) look toward the intercity bus terminal district and the Old Town, just south of the Jungangno nightlife district. For western style mid-range hotels and luxurious four- and five-star lodgings on your Daejeon vacation, seek out the district surrounding the Yuseong Spa area, where close subway links allow easy access from which to explore rest of the city.

  • I believe I went when the Expo Park was not in season. It was still open, but no one was there. It was okay for me though, I got to see some of the attractions without a line!  more »
