Seomun Market, Daegu

4.0
See how old meets new and feel the buzz of Seomun Market, Daegu’s largest market with over 4000 shops. Although most of the shop are indoors, a selection of open-air stalls give the market a special charm. You can shop for textiles, bedding, leather, accessories, traditional Korean clothes, and decorations at the market. Taste a traditional Korean dessert--hotteok--and browse through numerous ginseng products used for beneficial purposes. The market provides storage lockers to help you manage your shopping load, and plenty of delicious street food to help you recharge. • To the left is the new places that seemed to have been no, right, this was the original Le jeu a business if you are. We ate the bacon did bad to say. Rice noodle, pork belly rice balls, skewers, cod just Windows, yoghurt, juice, milk tea, macaroons and a decent price to sell a lot of many kinds of dinner or snack as a very decent dating place. Got a place you can eat like a pimp for a while, it is also possible to sit.

  • A large market, it is fashionable to find everything your heart desires, if you know where to look. Great variety of food on the street, give the trial a lot. Great choice of national and modern clothing, gifts, fabrics, tailoring, fashion jewelry, tableware, bags, caps. Many household trifles for the home

  • It's up to the market to eat cod there is no wide streets and nice back and forth when you lose the way to tame the tricky due to the easy peasy Onnuri gift certificates if you go up it's benefits

  • Very crowded place. Mostly selling clothes and accessories on the ground level and up. Basement level has mostly kitchenware. If you get hungry, there are a multitude of street food vendors lining the center of the streets. It's a great place for people watching as you eat. I rate it 3 stars because, as a guy, there are nothing to browse like electronic devices or tools - unless they are very well hidden somewhere within the market.
  • A nice local market, where you can find plenty of local food, fruit and vegetables. There are also shops selling cloth, for a reasonable price. You can also try the street food, again for low price. I would recommend visiting this market if you happen to visit Daegu. It is also very well located, in the center of the city, easily reachable.
  • You can find it all here. Love DIY and crafts? Yeah they got that...about 30 small stores that sell nothing but buttons, zippers, beads, and everything else. Street food is also sold in and out of the market. Inside the buildings are lots of clothing stores and custom tailors.
  • A must visit. You can go by bus, train or car. But driving and parking can be a headache. I recommend public transport. Great place for noodles or trying local food. Best for shopping for clothes or other textile items like linens and window treatments. But you can also find home goods, food and souvenirs.
  • Too cold to walk around and eat outside during the winter time. There are many street food places, but they sale the same food. Dumpling was really good!

Where to stay in Daegu

Daegu offers numerous high-quality, Western-style hotel options, clustering around the subway stations and downtown areas. With only one hostel, budget lodgings are scarce; however, even the mid-range hotels remain relatively affordable. Premium four- and five-star high-rise chains abound, offering pools and gyms, and often overlooking pleasant park greenery or the city's Kumho River. With transport links so well served, choose somewhere for its amenities and reputation, a spot of comfort to use as your city base.
