Yongdusan Park, Busan

(3.8/5 based on 750+ reviews on the web)
Climb the 129 m (423 ft) high tower to observe Busan at Yongdusan Park, a small hilltop park adjacent to a busy shopping area. Spanning 69,000 sq m (742,709 sq ft) with 70 different species of trees, the park also houses two museums: one with world folk instruments, and the other with 80 boat models ranging from traditional yellow-hemp sailboats to modern yachts. Look for the 12 m (37 ft) high statue of Yi Sun-sin, a 16th-century naval commander who repelled a Japanese invasion. Take a break from busy city life and calmly observe it from the park's viewing area (though you'll need to manage some steep stairs to get there). For travelers who use our world travel planner, Busan holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Yongdusan Park and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • It was in 3/25, in the family to go on the last day of the Korea trip and heard in front of the hotel where still closed. Heard said the closure in the aftermath of the shooting of the drama.

  • Tower is under construction for a while, so instead saw the cherry blossoms. Despite the unfavorable weather could bloom beautifully. I think I sat on the bench Choi was changed to another man. Also in the Park is a little shop.

  • You couldn't climb in I went and watch the sunset from the tower. Is quite high, so asked the staff, so can be used for 5 months until in the Middle again climb the escalators, even atop the tower. Piazza had figures (who if unknown) seemed not much so far to visit the brochure was often seen.

  • Nice place to stroll in and enjoy good views of Busan. But I felt that it was a bit crowded.
  • Worth a visit, there is a lot to see, it was a little tricky for us to find the entrance but we were glad we found it. Busan towers is also there, we paid 5000 won per person, it was nice view but I thought Lottee Mall view was enough for free.
  • It on a little hill top not very difficult to walk up since you have escalators. Very beautiful from the top. You can nearly see a 180 degree panaroma from up.
  • In the centre of Busan city with great view of the city from the tower...which is quite inexpensive compared to other such towers...park and tower is relatively less crowded for a wonderful and peaceful experience..near to it is happening and chic city centre with art streets and street food fairs
  • It was ok! The place has quite some history and one time i got lucky and met a voluntary guide who could tell about it!
