A pristine enclave of natural beauty, Taejongdae sits on the southernmost point of the island, a sheer cliff face looking out to the meeting point of the East China Sea and the Sea of Japan. Walking trails lead through thick pine forests and offer access to scenic lookouts and a contemporary lighthouse on the rugged coastline. • Not very impressive unfortunately. The train ride was not a train to start with, and the view was not spectacular.  more »

  • The best park to visit in Busan. The experience is fantastic. Getting there is a bit of a challenging. Using the cab is easy and the fare is reasonable if there are three or four in the group and it will also save you some time. The easiest way is to buy the ticket for the tram which will bring you to the few interesting stops in the park. the two most popular stops are Observation point and Lighthouse. I recommend going to Lighthouse first and when you are done, walk backward to the stop before, which is the Observation point. This way, you will have a better chance of getting onto the tram again as most visitors will get off at the Observation point.
  • One of the nicest places in Busan. It has so many beautiful landscapes and lighthouses! I would recommend taking comfortable shoes and having time for this park because it's woth it. Inside the park there is a little train so you don't have to worry about walking long distances. However, in order to get to the lighthouses and attractions you will have to take many stairs. The view is more beautiful in a good weather! You won't see anything of it's too cloudy!
  • Nice view but there r so many stairs. U can enjoy the seafood...enter the lighthouse...or just sitting around the rock beach enjoy the sea breeze. So relaxing
  • Great views, historical insights, and English translations provided. Beautiful walk but if you're feeling tired there is also a "train" you take you around the park.
  • It is a beautiful forest park, recommended to take mini shuttle to take you ard. There is a nice seafood noodle shop outside the park.

Where to stay in Busan

Established as a domestic tourist destination for a long while now, you'll find a good set of accommodations in Busan, a city becoming more and more equipped to cope with its burgeoning international reputation. Around Seomyeon station and slightly further to the northeast lie some of the most established options, with an abundance of hotels, hostels, and guesthouses in this highly commercial district. Head to the Haeundae beach district for a range of beachfront options, and more budget-friendly guesthouses in the side streets that lead away from the beach.
