Taejongdae, Busan

(4.2/5 based on 600+ reviews on the web)
A pristine enclave of natural beauty, Taejongdae sits on the southernmost point of the island, a sheer cliff face looking out to the meeting point of the East China Sea and the Sea of Japan. Walking trails lead through thick pine forests and offer access to scenic lookouts and a contemporary lighthouse on the rugged coastline. Uncover the area on foot, then take to the open ocean on a short cruise from the park's ferry terminal. Our Busan family vacation planner makes visiting Taejongdae and other Busan attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.

  • Take a stroll and explore a wheel instead of the train. Go down below the observation deck is where you can grab a drink in the fresh seafood.

  • Busan city in limousines is a tourist destination of Busan, which may see the trees and the sea at the entrance of the Park and walk up to the rock made up of views better would be seeing. In particular, the top of the observation tower, which is the key point of tourism suicide bars

  • Beautiful scenery and fresh ocean air. We came after it rained the night before so the "train" wasn't working before of slippery roadsurface. The walk wasn't that bad but I would suggest to take the road leading to the observatory instead of the temple, unless that is what you came to do.
  • One of the must-visit natural park across Busan. Excellent for a family trip. Good air, sceneries are magnificent.
  • Beautiful views, refreshing to walk in. The walk was a little long for me, had to take a few breaks in between. Should definitively wear a pair of comfortable walking shoes if you plan to come here, or you could just take the tram.
  • I think it's the nicest place I've visited in Busan. You can walk the path or take the mini train (20,000 won) It's very scenic and only about 2.5km so I recommend walking especially on a nice day. The scenery once you get to the lighthouse is incredible. The park is very easy to get to by bus. If you want to take your time and really see it all I suggest allotting 2.5 hours. Overall I definitely recommend it.
  • The most beautiful scenery of West Busan ocean side. I really love the collaboration with the rock cliff following the seaside. If you come to Busan, must visit overhere!
