Oryukdo Skywalk, Busan

4.2
#22 of 148 in Things to do in Busan
You'll feel like you're floating on air as you cross Oryukdo Skywalk. Made mostly out of glass and free to the public, the skywalk offers panoramic vistas of the surrounding area, with particularly good views of Oryukdo Island. Before you step on the glass structure, you’ll be asked to wear a shoe cover in order to avoid damaging the surface, and you'll have to change shoes if you're wearing high heels. You should also leave any drink or food outside. If you’re scared of heights, this might not be the best attraction for you. Make Oryukdo Skywalk part of your personalized Busan itinerary using our Busan vacation route planner.

The view from the skywalk was stunning. Also rode on the boat around the shoreline. The boat goes around to pickup and drop off people going to the rock to fish.  more »

It was nice, bit not much to it compared to other skywalks around the world. The cafe on site is expensive, but necessary after doing the long coastal walk along the water to get here.

When i got to the oryukdo skywalk, i felt thrilled and excited by walking on a transparent bridge. I felt like i was floating. I recommend this place even though the location is not that good.

Where to stay in Busan

Established as a domestic tourist destination for a long while now, you'll find a good set of accommodations in Busan, a city becoming more and more equipped to cope with its burgeoning international reputation. Around Seomyeon station and slightly further to the northeast lie some of the most established options, with an abundance of hotels, hostels, and guesthouses in this highly commercial district. Head to the Haeundae beach district for a range of beachfront options, and more budget-friendly guesthouses in the side streets that lead away from the beach.
