Oryukdo Skywalk, Busan

4.2
#20 of 147 in Things to do in Busan
You'll feel like you're floating on air as you cross Oryukdo Skywalk. Made mostly out of glass and free to the public, the skywalk offers panoramic vistas of the surrounding area, with particularly good views of Oryukdo Island. Before you step on the glass structure, you’ll be asked to wear a shoe cover in order to avoid damaging the surface, and you'll have to change shoes if you're wearing high heels. You should also leave any drink or food outside. If you’re scared of heights, this might not be the best attraction for you. • When the bus goes to the last stop, the Sea wind is strong (Japan typhoon the wind) the upper steps must be shod but the real it's worth it. The color view of the sea-sky is very strong. People who are wide under their feet are afraid that the side wash is clean.

  • Unfortunately, the day of the day is a little bit negative, whether the sky should be taken to take the steps should be more beautiful ♡ visitors need to follow the instructions to wear a shoe cover, so as not to scratch the glass step yo ~

  • Nice, but not too spectacular if compared to glass-floor skywalks in China and the Grand Canyon, USA. The rocks before are sharp and jagged, like so much of the South Korean coastline. It is short so ...  more »

  • It was nice, bit not much to it compared to other skywalks around the world. The cafe on site is expensive, but necessary after doing the long coastal walk along the water to get here.
  • it was named seungduma or jallokgae by residents and women divers. Completed on 12/9/2012 & start since 18/10/2013 with theme walk over the sky. 35m high coastal cliff views, 15m glass bridge. free admission. from busan station exit 10, take bus 27 alight at oryukdo sk view backgate bus stop n walk 275m to destination. total abt 25 stops.
  • When i got to the oryukdo skywalk, i felt thrilled and excited by walking on a transparent bridge. I felt like i was floating. I recommend this place even though the location is not that good.
  • Great experience to walk on Oryukdo Skywalk while enjoying the scenery.
  • Very beautiful place!

Where to stay in Busan

Established as a domestic tourist destination for a long while now, you'll find a good set of accommodations in Busan, a city becoming more and more equipped to cope with its burgeoning international reputation. Around Seomyeon station and slightly further to the northeast lie some of the most established options, with an abundance of hotels, hostels, and guesthouses in this highly commercial district. Head to the Haeundae beach district for a range of beachfront options, and more budget-friendly guesthouses in the side streets that lead away from the beach.
