Oryukdo Skywalk, Busan

3.9
#23 of 146 in Things to do in Busan
You'll feel like you're floating on air as you cross Oryukdo Skywalk. Made mostly out of glass and free to the public, the skywalk offers panoramic vistas of the surrounding area, with particularly good views of Oryukdo Island. Before you step on the glass structure, you’ll be asked to wear a shoe cover in order to avoid damaging the surface, and you'll have to change shoes if you're wearing high heels. You should also leave any drink or food outside. If you’re scared of heights, this might not be the best attraction for you. • On the cliff, the glass surface is actually looking at the sea, but also to the shoe cover, with the buried short, not to view first-class, see 180 degrees of the sea, there is a fine mountain behind

  • Good location for those who wants a short hike around the coastal area. Be prepared for the strong winds. The views are really good too.  more »
  • The glass bridge can be seen in front of the five or six island with the same buried foot under the wind, but not under the foot to see that the majority of the rock, so there is no imagination of the high

  • you should not just go for skywalk if you arrive here or you might be dissapointed.. It has a beautiful view from the peak! you should try to go near the seashore or other activities available there. overall it provides us breath-taking view.
  • The skywalk kinda disappointed, nthg amazing. But nice view in general, place to chill in the afternoon for a short walk.
  • It's a good place to visit in busan and should be a part of everyone's itinerary in busan. Psyduck means five or six islands as in certain lighting situations it appears as five and sometimes as six islands. It has a sky walk which is a highlight but it's around 20 meters long and finishes quickly and it's also not very scary as below lot of mountains are visibls looking through glass. The views are good and similar to tejongdae.
  • Oryukdo literally translates to 5 or 6 islands, which really tickles me. It is as if they couldn’t decide how many islets there were off the coast of Yongho-dong. But it’s that way because it appears to have 5 islets from one angle, and 6 from another. So, this is what it feels like to walk over the sky. The Orykdo Skywalk is a viewing platform made with transparent glass that extends out over the rock on Busan’s coast. Walk out to the perch, and no matter where you look, it’s all shades of blue and greys. Beautiful.
  • The view here is beautiful but the skywalk itself is very short and the flooring, which is supposed to be see -through, is very blurry. If you go there just for the skywalk alone, you might be disappointed.

Where to stay in Busan

Established as a domestic tourist destination for a long while now, you'll find a good set of accommodations in Busan, a city becoming more and more equipped to cope with its burgeoning international reputation. Around Seomyeon station and slightly further to the northeast lie some of the most established options, with an abundance of hotels, hostels, and guesthouses in this highly commercial district. Head to the Haeundae beach district for a range of beachfront options, and more budget-friendly guesthouses in the side streets that lead away from the beach.
