  • Better to go at night, and at weekend, Korean style and lovely atmosphere! Have a couple seafood shop, but if you want to get seafood, I'd recommend go to gijeng instead.
  • Traditional korean food street. Lots of food. This shop as per photo is very popular with local n tourists. Spicy but tasty food.
  • Cute arts and crafts market. They're not open daily so please check hours before heading out. It's on the main road that leads into Haeundae beach. The Busan subway will drop you off there.
  • Lots of seafood restaurants & fruit stores. All friendly & enjoyable & reasonably priced. 2 min walk from the haeundae beach. There's an excellent, must-try Korean donut store smack in middle of street.
  • Really fun to see all the fish in the market. Makes you question what's in your seafood stews though. Be careful about who and where you eat your fish from though. Not all fresh fish is good fish. Be careful talking to sales people too. They can try to suck you in to ordering their fish.

Where to stay in Busan

Established as a domestic tourist destination for a long while now, you'll find a good set of accommodations in Busan, a city becoming more and more equipped to cope with its burgeoning international reputation. Around Seomyeon station and slightly further to the northeast lie some of the most established options, with an abundance of hotels, hostels, and guesthouses in this highly commercial district. Head to the Haeundae beach district for a range of beachfront options, and more budget-friendly guesthouses in the side streets that lead away from the beach.
