Probably one of the better modern art museums in Korea. The exhibits were interesting and varied, mostly early 2000's works from Korean artists (unfortunately all of the piece descriptions were in Kor...  more »

We couldn't in the upcoming exhibition, exhibition, saddened only permanent exhibition free of charge. Enjoy the exhibition including installations and a small. Almost no explanations in English. Exhibition rooms for the children of the underground amusement park experience-based, such as colorful and athletic like many are crowded with local children as a very good place.

Displays are small, not all of the space is utilized. I saw everything in under an hour. There is a cafe here, bookstore and library. I will come again and inquire about English guide tour.

space lee ufan is an incredible retrospective of his works in a perfectly meditative environment. The museum itself is small yet lovely, but the real gem here is space lee ufan

Has both free and paid sections. Neat and not too crowded. Only draw back is the lack of artwork by foreign artists

I would call this a clean space. The collections they show case are really nice. The space is not too crowded and the each gallery had a couple of staffs who could help you with the art. Majority of the collections are from local artists and a couple of spaces dedicated to foreign artists. The museum also has a souvenir shop dedicated to Korean art.

It's a great space but they only get good exhibitions a few times a year.

Where to stay in Busan

Established as a domestic tourist destination for a long while now, you'll find a good set of accommodations in Busan, a city becoming more and more equipped to cope with its burgeoning international reputation. Around Seomyeon station and slightly further to the northeast lie some of the most established options, with an abundance of hotels, hostels, and guesthouses in this highly commercial district. Head to the Haeundae beach district for a range of beachfront options, and more budget-friendly guesthouses in the side streets that lead away from the beach.
