Create an itinerary including BIFF Square
Originally known as a small hub of improvized cinemas during Japanese colonial rule, BIFF Square today represents the center of Korea's modern film industry. Renovated and transformed in 1996, the site quickly became a cultural tourist attraction, especially for movie lovers and directors. Experience the crowded first-run theaters, which only a small number of Asian and European cities can host to begin with. Besides focusing on films and entertainment, the district also contains an abundance of restaurants, leisure facilities, and shops, so you can purchase affordable food, fashionable clothing, and meet new people anywhere you turn. • Street food, shopping, restaurants, bright lights and more. Sadly however, Korea has only just reopened to the world after the C-19 pandemic and the area is still quiet. Not back to normal yet.

  • The vibe is great. So many street food stalls are there. You can explore koream street food. Many other activities are also available here.
  • A very nice place to see the streets vendors, with food and other accessories available. It is located near the Jagalchi harbour, and well accessible by local trains and buses. BIFF stands for Busan International Film Festival. Must try the seafood and Hotteok ( Street food) when you are here.
  • Great market place with plenty of shops, food, and entertainment all around the area. One of the things that I liked the most was a large variety of small family owned shops on every street and corner around that place. Everyone was were pleasant to talk to and if you speak Korean, I would recommend asking about the items and their history or meaning, shop owners enjoy talking about their items.
  • They had a beautiful flower exhibit of different parts if the world including a minitiature Eiffel Tower.
  • The street food is amazing in the BIFF Square. Considering the price, it's actually possible to try 4-5 different items for around 10,000 won. The only issue is the crowd, so maintaining social distancing might not be possible.
