BIFF Square, Busan

(750+ reviews on the web)
Landmark
Originally known as a small hub of improvized cinemas during Japanese colonial rule, BIFF Square today represents the center of Korea's modern film industry. Renovated and transformed in 1996, the site quickly became a cultural tourist attraction, especially for movie lovers and directors. Experience the crowded first-run theaters, which only a small number of Asian and European cities can host to begin with. Besides focusing on films and entertainment, the district also contains an abundance of restaurants, leisure facilities, and shops, so you can purchase affordable food, fashionable clothing, and meet new people anywhere you turn. Plan your BIFF Square visit and explore what else you can see and do in Busan using our Busan trip itinerary planner.

  • Because it was raining or stalls. However, it did at least two famous hotteok vendors. Hotteok ate at stalls eating Lee Seung (yellow signs). 1 piece 1200 w. Sweet during the hotteok turned a lot of nutty and delicious. Sweet things is another belly. More popular or is another one lined up who did not.

  • Cross over from the jalgachi market after lunch and started walking this busy and crowded place. Lots of people, streets foods and stalls and shops all around. Followed the finger prints on the floor ...  more »
  • Lots of caffes, lots of people, lots of stores. Beautifull street with sculptures. Some delicious street food there too. It is worth it visiting and walking around during the night.  more »

  • Fun place to walk around and eat your way through. Don't mind the pushiness of the street vendors it's part of the culture and aren't offended if you don't go with them.
  • Very trendy urban streetscape designed with pedestrians in mind. There are a lot of stores, boutiques, restaurants, and food stalls around.
  • Great street food. Must visit place if you're in Busan.
  • A lot of street foods to try here. Highly recommended.
  • Interesting market area nearby, but mostly worth it just for the blazing LED lights and street food.
