  • The other reviews will tell you about the temple. Bottom line, it’s a must see if you visit Andong. Easiest way to get here is by car, but buses run to this site. Pay the 2000₩ per person...

  • Old and beautiful temple and well preserved.
  • Pleasant walk to reach the temple and surrounding buildings. I came here several years ago and was amazing. However a lot of work has and still is taking place here. This spoils the look and feel of the place. Some of the new permanent modern structures have been built to make money out of the visitors. This would be fine if they had not built them so close. A real pity. Worth a visit if in the area as does not take long.
  • We only visited here because we happened to be staying at Bongjeongsagil 200 Guesthouse just down the road. It was really great though, a really old (the oldest wooden building in Korea) and magnificent temple in an incredibly peaceful part of nature. We saw two wild deer, a woodpecker and a number of other birds here during our short visit. A couple of other people appeared to be there solely for the bird watching.
  • Such a great experience, so peaceful , a must visit . one of the oldest temples in Korea Great temple architecture. Some of the oldest buildings in Korea. A lovely walk through woods to reach the temples makes it even more agreeable.
